American television channel G4 Network decides to Celebrate Life of "Jackass" Star Ryan Dunn

One week after Ryan Dunn died in a fatal high-speed car crash, American cable- and satellite-television channel (TV network) G4 will be paying tribute to Jackass star Ryan Dunn before airing the remaining episodes of his Proving Ground show.“Ryan was an incredible talent who will be missed tremendously by his many fans, including G4 viewers,” said G4 President Neal Tiles. “It was important to all of us at G4 to find a way to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him. With the support of Ryan’s family, we’ve decided to air the remaining episodes of G4’s Proving Ground and give his fans the opportunity to continue watching this series that he was so passionate about.”Before airing the remaining eight episodes of Proving Ground G4 will air the Dunn tribute as part of a special Attack of the Show! on July 19 at 7 p.m. followed by the next episode of Proving Ground.Dunn and his friend Zachary Hartwell were killed last week after the 34-year-old Dunn lost control of his Porsche while travelling at a high rate of speed near the Pottstown exit of Route 322 in West Goshen, Pennsylvania.

Little About Actress, Singer and Fashion Designer Amanda Laura Bynes

American actress, singer and fashion designer Amanda Laura Bynes. Bynes appeared in several successful television series, such as All That and The Amanda Show, on Nickelodeon in the mid to late 1990s and early 2000s, and in 2002, she starred in the TV series, What I Like About You.

Bynes was born and raised in California, USA.The daughter of Lynn, a dental assistant and office manager, and Rick Bynes, a dentist who also practiced stand-up comedy.Bynes has two older siblings, Tommy and Jillian,who has a B.A. in History from UCLA and has also acted.Bynes' maternal grandparents are from Toronto and her ancestors immigrated from Ireland, Poland, Russia, and Romania.Her father is Catholic and her mother is Jewish.Bynes has described herself as Jewish,and has also stated "I haven't decided yet.I don't know yet exactly what I believe".

Bynes started out at University Elementary, and later graduated from Thousand Oaks High School's independent study program.She briefly moved into an apartment in Hollywood, California, but has since returned to her family home in Thousand Oaks.In 2007, Bynes spoke out against becoming another wild Hollywood star: "I think I’ll go out as much as I’ve ever gone out.which is not a lot. I like to dance and stuff, but drinking isn’t good for you in every way. It’s not good for your skin,it makes you feel horrible. So, drinking-wise, no.She restated these ideas in interviews through out the summer of 2007, telling Access Hollywood: "I like being with my family and friends, and I don't need to be out at the clubs.

Hasselbeck blames Sarah Palin for lack of Mitt Romney ......

American television Persinality Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who campaigned for Sarah Palin  in 2008 is now complaining that the former governor is distracting media attention from Mitt Romney.On a recent episode of "The View," Hasselbeck used an interesting analogy to argue that the hockey mom's "One Nation" tour was stealing the thunder from Romney's plan to improve the economy.

If I had termites in my house I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," the former contestant on "Survivor" explained. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating.Hasselback's angst against the Alaskan may seem odd considering that in 2008 She guaranteed that if Palin made it to the White House she would fight D.C. corruption.

Hasselbeck said while introducing Palin at a rally in Tampa, Fla., in 2008. "All that corruption went out with the trash. Now whatever the good ol' boys are up to these days, that has no place in her state no place. And Gov.Wall Street, guaranteed."This isn't the first time the talk show cohost has been critical of Palin. In 2010 Hasselbeck reluctantly agreed with "View" colleague Joy Behar over SarahPac's use of cross-hairs in an advertisement against Democrats in the House who voted for the healthcare overhaul.

American television host and television personality Elisabeth Hasselbeck,She was a contestant on Survivor The Australian Outback and is a current co-host on the daytime talk show The View.

Elisabeth DelPadre Filarski was born in Cranston, Rhode Island. She is the daughter of Roman Catholic school teacher and lawyer Elizabeth DelPadre and architect Kenneth Filarski.She has one brother, Kenneth, Jr.,a lawyer and aspiring musician. As a child, she lived in Providence and Cranston, Rhode Island.Hasselbeck was raised Roman Catholic and attended St. Mary School in Cranston, followed by St. Mary Academy  Bay View in Riverside, Rhode Island, where she graduated in 1995.She then attended Boston College, where she captained the women's softball team for two seasons, winning consecutive Big East championships.With a concentration on large scale paintings and industrial design, Hasselbeck graduated with a Fine Arts degree in 1999.

In Her Carrer Hasselbeck was cast in Survivor: The Australian Outback, and was originally a member of the Kucha tribe. She was the last remaining member of that tribe in the game before being voted off on Day 39 and finishing fourth overall. As her luxury item, she brought a self made immunity headdress.In 2001, Hasselbeck was a judge at the Miss Teen USA Pageant.From 2002 to 2003 she hosted the Style Network's The Look for Less where she helped find stylish clothes for bargain prices.

Hasselbeck married her college boyfriend On July 6, 2002, former professional football quarterback Tim Hasselbeck. They have a daughter, Grace Elisabeth born in 2005,and two sons, Taylor born in 2007, and Isaiah born in 2009.Hasselbeck is a supporter of breast cancer awareness initiatives in the form of an internet only PSA on breast cancer diagnosis.She is living with celiac disease. 

She has written a book on the subject, The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide, which has appeared on several best seller lists. On June 23, 2009, a lawsuit was filed in a federal court in Massachusetts alleging that her book was plagiarized from a self-published book by Susan Hasset.Hasselbeck released a statement calling the allegations baseless. The lawsuit was dismissed in November 2009 when the plaintiff's lawyer declined to pursue it, saying to the press that he believed some degree of plagiarism occurred, but it was not sufficient to justify monetary damages.

HGTV Green Home 2010 in Plymouth, MA - First Floor

Last week, I had the opportunity to take a designers' tour of the 2010 HGTV Green Home in Plymouth, MA. Shaw Industries, who provides the majority of the floor and surface materials for the home, along with local Shaw distributor Ideal Floor of Cape Cod, hosted a lovely breakfast for local designers and media folks, followed by the house tour. The white shingle house is approximately 2,100 square feet which fits with the green concept. The wrap-around porch with the deep overhang offers protection from the sun's heat, which keeps the inside cooler, reducing the need for air conditioning.

HGTV House Planner Jack Thomasson told us that their mission is to have their homes fit into their specific environments. In this case, Jack said the house is "A classic Cape Cod design, with a twist".

The open floor plan of the first floor features the living room, dining area and kitchen.  The living room is filled with bright pattern and colors, with lots of textural pieces and original art from local artists.  The  room featured bead board coffered ceilings and a stone fireplace.

The geographic coffee table is by Audry Sterk Home Collection, available at Nantucket Looms.  I like the sprightly red sofa (a theme color of the home), although not so much the pillows.

The dining area is situated next to the living room area.

This vintage wire basket fixture was purchased at Found in Houston.  I believe that the designers prefer to select pieces that come from stores local to the home, however, designer Linda Woodrum told me that this piece was so perfect that she felt she needed to use it regardless. Totally the right choice - how fabulous is this?? I have been dreaming of how I can make one and where I would put it! The dining room table is by West Barnstable Tables.  Simple wicker chairs and creamy white stoneware pieces finish off the space.

The kitchen runs along the backside of the room - and I must admit - I don't love it. For a relatively small space, there is too much going on. I would have preferred something a little simpler and less over-styled. However, the individual elements are gorgeous.

The blue mini-subway tile back splash is Shaw's Glass Essential Block. The farmhouse sink is surrounded by Shaker style cabinetry painted in Sherwin William's Extra White.

Interior designer Linda Woodrum of Hilton Head, has designed nearly all of the HGTV Green and Dream homes for the last fifteen years. A pretty good gig! She was very open and generous with information, answering whatever questions the crowd of decorators had to ask. She acknowledged that it was a bit nerve wracking to have other designers viewing her space while she's there. Because, of course, we all have our own opinions!

Clearly, the ruby red Caesarstone natural quartz center island counter top is the showstopper of the place. Just gorgeous! The fabulous rusty vintage wire urns are from Dovetales in Plymouth.

My favorite space in the house is this fabulous laundry/mud room tucked down a hall from the main room. Nearly everyone who walked in oohed and aahed over the red washer and dryer, set off against the medium dark blue gray (Sherwin William's Cityscape) bead board woodwork.

Storage shelves filled with New Hampshire Hancock baskets are on the opposing wall.
