Waterway To Orbit

The 32nd shuttle mission to the International Space Station, STS-130, left planet Earth on February 8. Its early morning launch to orbit from Kennedy Space Center's pad 39A followed the long, graceful, eastward arc seen in this 2 minute time exposure. Well composed, the dramatic picture also shows the arc's watery reflection from the Intracoastal Waterway Bridge, in Ponte Vedra, Florida, about 115 miles north of the launch site. In the celestial background a waning crescent Moon and stars left their own short trails against the still dark sky. The brightest star trail near the moon was made by red supergiant Antares, alpha star of the constellation Scorpius.

One Day at Google Office (Images)

This is probably the reason why Google wins the title of 'Best Employer' several years running.
Google is said to be the dream job of a lot of people.

We already knew that working for Google had certain advantages, but, this giant of the search motor takes the welfare of its employees seriously ... as shown by this decompression (stress) capsule that is impermeable to sound and light . . ..

Moving around : A slide allows quick access from different floors . . . There are also poles available . . . they are similar to the ones used in fire stations .

Food . Employees can eat all they want from a vast choice of food and drink .

Work Station: Each employee has at least two large screens . There are 4-6 'Zooglers' per office .

INOVATION: Large boards are available just about everywere because 'ideas don't always come when seated in the office' says one of Googles managers .

LEISURE . Pool tables, video games etc . are available in many areas .

Communication . . . On each floor, there are private cabin areas where employees can attend to personal affairs ..

Technical Support: Problem with your computer ? No problem . . . Bring it to this area where drinks are available while it is being fixed . .. .

Health: Professional masseurs (eusses) available .

REST . . . This room provides massage chairs that you control . . . while you view relaxing aquariums . . . . !!!

Ambience . . . There are many books in this library . . . even some about programming !!

Coca-Cola has one of the most recognizable images in the world and although Coke knows it would be suicide to discard their classic logo, what they have done for the summer season is revamp the classic Coke look.
Coca-Cola has officially launched a series of five cans, all with varying scenes of summer on them including aviators, beach balls, surfboards, the American flag, and BBQ’s. These cans are flirting with both what people know to be classic as well as creative and innovative marketing strategy.
